Alison joined Ashdown Hurrey & Co Accountants in September 1997 having gained valuable experience in developing business on a small scale and implementing and running new IT systems. Her brief was to centralise the payroll operations of the Accountancy practice and develop the subsidiary payroll company, Pro-Pay Ltd. In October 1998, Pro-pay acquired a local payroll bureau and doubled its client base to around 400 payrolls. The sizes of the payrolls range from 1 employee to 1,000 employees. Active marketing and Internet presence ensures the continued growth of the company. The whole Pro-Pay team is proud of the expansion of the business and shares a sense of achievement in the success it is today. More recently, Pro-Pay was acquired by KCS Group in 2005 and with their support, Pro-Pay is continuing its growth in the payroll bureau market.
Christine
Fleming BA(Hons) MIPPM(Dip) - Payroll Manager
Christine is a graduate of Sussex University where she gained a degree in Social Policy, specialising in benefits and the Social Welfare system. She is a qualified Associate of the Institute of Payroll and Pension Managers. Before joining Pro-Pay in July 1998, Christine worked for a London Local Authority dealing with pay for all educational staff. Christine has overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the payroll bureau. Outside of Pro-Pay, she has a hectic family life providing invaluable support and backup to her daughters growing family.
Nikki
Sims MIPPM(Dipp) - Payroll Consultant.
Nikki joined Pro-Pay from the Personnel Department of the National Health Service in April 1999. She has recently been successful in achieving the Diploma in Payroll and Pensions Management. Nikki manages our larger high staff turnover clients such as agencies and event management employers as well as those payrolls with close connections to the National Health Service. Nikki is the proud mum of teenage twin girls who keep us all up to date on what’s in and what’s not.
